BitHarbour operates with radical transparency. Proof of reserves, independent security audits, compliance certifications, and a public commitment to never touch your private keys — ever.
Every Bitcoin and digital asset held in BitHarbour wallets is cryptographically verifiable on-chain. We publish our reserve proofs using industry-standard Merkle tree attestations.
We take a cryptographic snapshot of all wallet balances at a specific block height. This creates an immutable, timestamped record.
Each wallet's balance is hashed into a Merkle tree. Users receive a unique leaf hash — verifying their balance is included without revealing others.
Third-party auditors verify the Merkle root against on-chain balances. Anyone can independently verify their own wallet using our open-source verification tool.
Cryptographic proof that all Bitcoin and crypto assets are fully backed and accounted for.
Regular independent security audits by leading blockchain security firms with published results.
Enterprise-grade compliance with SOC 2 Type II certification for security and data protection.
Comprehensive insurance for institutional clients through leading crypto insurance providers.
We never hold, access, or control your private keys. Period.
We don't track, sell, or monetize your personal information.
Core wallet code is open source and auditable by anyone.
Cryptocurrency investments carry risk. Bitcoin and other digital assets are volatile and can lose value. BitHarbour provides self-custody infrastructure — we do not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, or guarantees of returns.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Always conduct your own research and consult qualified financial professionals before making investment decisions.
